Under construction!

This is a temporary lull. I’m in the process of moving this to a new site, reducing the volume of posts, upping the quality of the site in both content and design and hosting all my own mixes on there. Fun, fun, fun.

Meanwhile why not check out my Twitter feed down on the right hand side there or look at a picture of the hairy bikers.

Or listen to Joost Verboven playing Neil Young’s Double E on the front porch at the Flying Popcorn Ranch in Montana

Something old, something new, something remixed, something else that doesn’t rhyme

Two rock re-edits here. One of a newer tune:

and one of an older tune:

Now I like Bon Iver. I also like Fleetwood Mac. But which is better? There’s only one way to find out…FIGHT!

Heavy Metal Heatmap

I’m not finding the time to keep this blog fresh. Twitter seems to be taking up more of my time, which is kinda sad in a way. You guys should totally follow me on Twitter (@headbandmike). Anyway I’m thinking fo gradually transitioning to a different style, with this blog for really long format, well-researched but less frequent articles, and Twittter as my “brainvomit” feed.

For the time being get your peepers round this!

I do love me some metal, but rarely get a chance to write about it on here. Here’s a good metal song:
